Looking for fungi in the woods

We didn't think that their would be much to see when Tim Bruning, a fungi expert, came on site this morning, as it was starting to snow. But how wrong we were. Tim is sending some of the samples away for identification, but did identify in situ, turkey tails and netted crust.

These beautiful turkey tails look like oyster shells, and varied in colour from dun browns to oranges.
