We work with volunteers to grow and maintain our unique site to help people gain confidence and meet like-minded people who care about the natural world and where our food comes from.

Nature walk
In 2025 we received funding from the Arts Council to put in a themed nature walk around our woodland. We've been working with Alison Walling of Lincolnshire Willow and Allen of Allen Stichling Wood Carving create interesting things to see around the walk, and it's now all starting to take shape, ready for our opening in April 2026.
Growing for ECHO
This year we will be growing vegetables for ECHO street kitchen. This is the East Coast Homeless Outreach, a van-based street kitchen, serving hot meals and drinks, and delivering food parcels. It's a community volunteer group, who collect and share with those “left out in the cold” either literally or figuratively, by todays economic reality.
